Greetings to you and with respect to all the people of the world and my country Iran and all the viewers of this interview.
I was born on July 30, 1991 in Isfahan, Iran.
I started playing music at the age of 16 as a teenager but nothing was professional and I tried to find a way to get into professional music. I wrote songs and sang for myself. I became acquainted with the guitar and started learning music professionally. In fact, at the age of 23, I entered the world of professional music and started composing by playing the piano and studied with the professors of this profession.
WE CONTINUE. HOW AND WHEN DID INTERNATIONAL MUSIC AND GLOBAL COLLABORATIONS BEGIN?
I started working in the Iranian music market in 2017 and composed and released several singles, but it was not satisfactory for me because my interest in collaborating with world-renowned singers and musicians was a priority for me. In early 2021, I met Shay Watson, an artist, singer, and producer from the United States. The atmosphere of his music was close to my ideals and his good character made our friendship good and we produced albums such as: Songs of Hope and Peace / Love is Enough / and Life Goes On. The melodies were composed by me and Shay, and I did the mixing and mastering except for two of my songs.
EXCELLENT. LET’S CONTINUE. WHO DID YOU COLLABORATE WITH ON YOUR ALBUMS, AND HOW DO YOU EVALUATE INTERNATIONAL MUSIC IN GENERAL?
Thanks for this question! Shay Watson and I with prominent musicians such as Peter Baltes / Jason Goforth / Klaus Luchs / as well as singers and artists such as Jenny Teator / Sarah Rebecca / Ella Hart. We collaborated on three albums.
I wrote the songs in Persian and my songs are in Persian and I wanted to preserve my originality and expose it.
International music is like an endless road to the beginning for me.
As an Iranian, I always wanted to be an honor for my country, and our first album, Songs of Hope and Peace, was in the same direction. World peace between all countries and the equality of the rights of all human beings and the implementation of equal justice everywhere in the world was one of our concerns and I personally think international music is attractive to me because it means the unity of nations and singing about love and these issues. It is so.
THERE IS MUSIC IN YOUR LIFE, AND YOU ARE COMPOSING, SINGING AND PRODUCING MUSIC, WHAT ADVICE DO YOU HAVE FOR THOSE WHO WANT TO GET CLOSER TO THE WORLD OF MUSIC?
Knowledge, awareness and practice … If they put all these three principles at the forefront of their work, they can reach the position they want.
Of course, other factors also play a role, but learning knowledge and awareness in the field of music and a lot of practice in this field is one of the basic principles and requirements for this work.
You can’t tell a skilled tailor to make music. This is not specialized at all! Of course, everything is relative.
THE NEXT QUESTION IS HOW IS THE MUSIC OF THE MOVIE AND SERIES AND HOW SERIOUS IS IT?
I made the music I made for different series and movies with love. This has always been serious for me and I tried to accept things with which I had a good relationship.
I like the music that I worked on in the episodes of the Young and Restless series.
Also my music in various episodes on MTV and other networks.
LOOK AT COVID HOW MUCH DO YOU THINK IT HAS INFLUENCED MUSIC AND BASICALLY HOW POPULAR ARE PEOPLE ON SOCIAL MEDIA?
I must say that Covid disease caused music to become isolated. Concert halls were empty and even many artists were lost and depressed, but if we look at the other form of the subject, it is beautiful. It was an uninvited guest disease that made people remember each other more and know that life is so short … Regarding cyberspace, it should be said that music has its own fans and every artist in any style should continue to work. Although more and more people come to the virtual world for entertainment and such topics, good music is always welcomed everywhere in the world, and of course, advertising has a great impact on this.
WHERE DO YOU SEE HAMIDREZA GHORBANI TODAY IN A FEW YEARS? WILL YOU CONTINUE TO BE IN THE WORLD OF MUSIC AND SOCIAL MEDIA OR DO YOU THINK YOU MAY TAKE OTHER PATHS?
In answer to your question, I must say that there is no guarantee for any subject, but I know this very well. I continue my career with love because I experienced bitter and hard days and unfortunate events for him. I was alone in this path and if, as always, God’s grace includes me, I would like to collaborate with artists around the world and share my successes on social media. The path is not always easy
