Action is not only about blowing up cars… Says Hrithik Roshan

Hrithik Roshan, who made his debut in Bollywood in the year 2000 with “Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai” and is one of the highest-paid actors in Bollywood, seems excited about the release of his action movie WAR, the release of which is scheduled for October 2, 2019.

Well, it’s not just Hrithik, but also his fans have been eagerly waiting for the release of the movie. Over the period of 19 years of his journey in the industry, Hrithik has featured in many hit movies such as Koi… Mil Gaya, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Krrish franchise, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, Jodhaa Akbar, Agneepath etc.

Speaking about his action movie WAR, the 45-year-old star said, “Now it is changing, and with War I hope people start understanding that action needs to be devised according to the brain of the character.”

He added, action is not only about blowing up cars but it is more about planning and strategizing. The star feels that at one point the Hindi actioner became very boring because it “was spoon-fed and very easy.”

The actor, who is often referred to as the Greek God of Bollywood for his striking looks of course, called Hollywood star Tom Cruise’s Mission Impossible films a benchmark and said, “A Mission Impossible is a benchmark. It’s all in a very intelligently crafted screenplay and all the characters are very intelligent. They do not spoon-feed you. In our cinema, because we were so used to spoon-feeding at one point of time, our action films became very boring to watch. It was spoon-fed, very easy. It was like ‘yeh kya ho raha hai sab’ (What is happening?). Action was for the sake of action.”
