American singer, songwriter, and actress, Ariana Grande has just released her new song “Boyfriend” and fans are getting crazier on social media.
Ariana’s boyfriend is about “how it feels to have a crippling crush on someone.”
Before we move ahead, here’s what the 26-years-old says about the song: “I feel like this song captures a common theme in the lives of so many people I know,” Grande shared. “People want to feel love but don’t want to define their relationship and have trouble fully committing or trusting or allowing themselves to fully love someone, even tho they want to.”
Further, she wrote that she and Social House wanted to create something which has some message. “We wanted to make something uplifting that captures that feeling of being afraid to take the leap and trust, being afraid of being hurt or feeling like you won’t be enough for that person … but also how it feels to have a crippling crush on someone.”
“Boyfriend” is Grande’s first song, released after her fifth studio album, Thank U, Next, which released earlier this year. The song starts with the line “I’m a motherf*ckin’ train wreck,” and the video features the singer and Social House’s Mikey Foster as a couple who couldn’t confess how they truly feel about each other.
The song was premiered on Aug 1, 2019 and till now it has 22 million views on Youtube… And her twitter is flooded with tweets from her fans, which includes many Hollywood & Bollywood celebrities. Well, that’s simply wonderful!!
