In a recent interview on model Emily Ratajkowski’s podcast “High Low,” actress Chloe Cherry discussed her experiences working in both the restaurant and porn industry.

Cherry stated that she found working in the porn industry to be much safer than her previous job as a waitress. She said that the experience of being a waitress was “f—— traumatizing” and that she felt “much more respected” in the porn industry. She also mentioned that in the porn industry, everything is planned out and there isn’t any random act of harassment, which she had to face as a waitress.

During the interview, Cherry also spoke about her childhood aspirations, saying that she had always wanted to be a showgirl or something “very flashy.” She explained that the representation of women in media shaped her aspirations, and that from a young age, she wanted to be like the “bimbo” characters she saw on TV and in magazines.

Cherry also touched upon her decision to leave the porn industry and pursue acting, she said it was for personal reasons and she will continue to be an actress. She is currently featured as Faye in the HBO Max show “Euphoria.”
