Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal fulfils his promise, dines at Ahmedabad auto-driver’s home

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) convenor and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal fulfilled his promise of having dinner at an auto-driver’s home after accepting his invitation. Kejriwal is in Gujarat for two days as part of his campaign for the upcoming Assembly Elections.

The AAP National convenor travelled to the auto-driver’s home in a three-wheeler along with other AAP leaders. However, it is impossible that controversy wouldn’t take place where Kejriwal is. The Delhi CM got into a heated argument with a Gujarat cop over security protocols.

Kejriwal accepted auto-rickshaw driver Vikram Dantani’s invitation to have dinner at his home. “I am your fan. In a video I saw on social media, you went to have dinner at the home of an auto driver in Punjab. So, will you come to my home for dinner?” asked auto-driver Vikram Dantani.

The Delhi CM immediately agreed to the request of the auto-driver. “Autowalas of Punjab and Gujarat love me. Should I come today evening? At 8 pm,” Kejriwal said. Ahead of the dinner, the AAP national convenor lashed out at police officials outside a five-star hotel over security procedures.

Kejriwal was not ready to take police along with him to the house of the auto-driver. Once the argument was finished over security protocols, a police official sat beside the auto-rickshaw driver, while two police cars accompanied the auto-rickshaw to Ghatlodia.
