G20 Summit 2022: PM Modi stresses upon reviving global growth

As Prime Minister Narendra Modi left for Bali, Indonesia to attend the G20 Summit 2022, the PM said that he will hold extensive discussions with other G-20 leaders on important issues of global concern, such as reviving global growth, ensuring energy and food security, and discussing issues related to health and digital transformation.

PM Modi will join big leaders such as US President Joe Biden, UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, Chinese President Xi Jinping and French President Emmanuel Macron at the annual summit on November 15-16. “I look forward to addressing the Indian community in Bali during a reception on November 15,” PM Modi added.

The Prime Minister also said that he would emphasize India’s achievements and commitment to jointly address global issues. “During the Bali Summit, I will have extensive discussions with other G20 Leaders on key issues of global concern, such as reviving global growth, food & energy security, environment, health, and digital transformation,” said PM Modi.

According to sources, the Indian Prime Minister is scheduled to hold talks with his British counterpart and the French President on November 16. “India will officially assume the G20 Presidency from 1st December 2022. I will also extend my personal invitation to G20 Members and other invitees to our G20 Summit next year,” added PM Modi.
