Hung Vanngo – the “Master of Sexiness”

The beauty industry has a great many makeup artists who are known for their miracle hands. And the Vietnamese makeup artist Hung Vanngo based in New York city, is one amongst them. He can flawlessly create a unique look. His style is well-known for his statement eye shadows and well sketched complexions.

Vanngo believes, “less is more!” as he prefers a simple yet elegant look on his clients. Before entering the makeup industry he worked in a salon in Calgary. He then moved back to New York in 2006 where he gained popularity in the makeup world through his first big break that Vanngo got when he worked for a shoot at Shop Etc magazine with Amy Keller.

In a recent interview, Vanngo said, “For someone to last this long in a business is really because how you make people feel, and it motivates you to go to work everyday.”

Vanngo’s creativity can be seen in publications, including Vogue and Allure. His famous collaborations are with Marc Jacobs, Calvin Klein, Lancôme and L’ORÉAL. Besides, he has even dolled up renowned celebrities like Gisele Bündchen, Julianne Moore and Emily Ratajkowski. The most talked-about look created by him was on Selena Gomez for the 2017 Met Gala.

Recently, Vanngo shared his beauty routine along with the go-to beauty product Penelope Cruz applies before makeup.
