The 26-year-old Lebanese-American adult actress Mia Khalifa may have been one of the most famous personalities on PornHub. Mia declares that she earned far less in compensation than most of her fans believe -on Twitter, Khalifa disclosed she only made $12,000 during her porn career.
In a tweet posted this morning, Khalifa—also known as Mia Callista—wrote “People think I’m racking in millions from porn. Completely untrue. I made a TOTAL of around $12,000 in the industry and never saw a penny again after that. Difficulty finding a normal job after quitting porn was… scary.” That news caused Mia to become a top trending people on Twitter throughout the day.
According to VICE Mia Khalifa only worked for a short period of three months in the adult film industry in 2014 when she was 22. Her videos were so wildly popular that as of 2019 she became No.2 most searched star on Pornhub.
