The World is going through a devastating phase, not just from a health point of view, but from an economy point of view as well. The future can look uncertain for many, but I look at it as an opportunity to innovate and create new product lines to suit lives, in the post Corona phase. Fortunately, the biggest strength of Power Sportz is an inbuilt innovative platform in the product itself.
MS KANTHI, YOUR CHANNEL HAS PICKED UP RESPONSES INTERNATIONALLY AS WELL, WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO ACHIEVE THE SAME, RECENTLY WE HEARD ABOUT INTERNATIONAL SPORTSPERSONS ACKNOWLEDGING YOUR SHOWS?
Being on a digital platform, and available on the world wide web, apps, Amazon Fire TV, automatically helps reaching out globally. We reach out to about 120 countries globally. Between May 19, 2019 and today, we have added 74 million users, worldwide to our traffic base, and we feel proud about the same.
HOW ARE YOU SO CONFIDENT THAT THE SAME TREND WILL CONTINUE WHEN THE WORLD BELIEVES OTHERWISE ABOUT THE FUTURE OF THE ECONOMY?
Well, as a team, we have always believed that those who think differently achieve different results. Having said that, certain sectors have an inbuilt immunity against the highs and lows of the economy, and digital is one of them and sports is the other. Luckily, both exist for us. Now, its about how we can innovate, be focussed, to deliver new solutions in the product mix of sports and digital broadcast.
HAS THE NEW PRODUCT MIX EVOLVED ALREADY?
Yes, it has, and Ive used this forced lockdown period to develop this product mix and firm it up. We are ready to roll it out in a short span of time, as sentiments revive.
OVER THE PAST 2 YEARS, YOU HAVE INDICATED MANY TIMES THAT BEING A WOMAN IN A MALE-DOMINATED WORLD LIKE SPORTS, IS A CHALLENGE, DO YOU FEEL THE SAME AFTER COMPLETING 2 YEARS, OR HAVE THINGS CHANGED?
Ha Ha Ha….no, nothing much has changed outside. But, for me, the past 2 years has given me more strength and confidence to manage things on my own, and be self reliant. Having said that, I must admit that both men and women have their unique strengths, and both are required for a robust product. There are some things that men can do better than women, and its best left to them. At the end of the day, its not gender, but what comes out of the right gender mix to strengthen the business, is important.
