Tiffany Gaines Gives Details On How To Achieve Balance While Running Multiple Businesses

Tiffany Gaines being labeled as a woman who wears many hats is simply an understatement. She is known throughout the industry as having a “not to mess with” demeanor however her goals and achievements show compassion, dedication and a will to help those who are usually labeled as the underdogs. We met up with Tiffany recently and spoke with her about what it takes to make it as an executive in the world of entertainment. Tiffany kept her answers surreal and honest especially when it comes to the sacrifices needed to achieve such sought-after success.

WHAT IS THE MOST CRUCIAL BIT OF ADVICE YOU CAN OFFER SOMEONE WANTING TO BUILD A SUCCESSFUL AND POPULAR BRAND?
First thing’s first is regardless of what industry or field you are planning on creating a brand with, make sure that you love, eat, sleep and breathe everything about it because that is the only way you are going to survive the sacrifices you’ll have to give to maintain its potential for growth. The reality is that everyone is going to be faced with obstacles. This is inevitable. Sometimes real time results won’t even begin to show itself as even worthy of being raved or spoken about until you’ve looked up and nearly a decade has passed and finally a sprout of life has begun to peak through the cracks.

Please understand, my words are not to discourage anyone. I am not trying to make it seem as if someone will have to wait at least ten years to even see some type of progress within their brand and online presence, however most quit fighting for their dreams because their initial perspective from jump on success was based solely on an unrealistic approach to what exactly is considered qualified enough to even call it “a popular brand”.  So if I were going to say one specific and crucial bit of advice to focus on when it comes to even attempting to building a brand, it would be to walk in with your fighting gloves on, your mental cap and more patience than the average with an enormous amount of hard work, sweat and tears to go with it.

YOU ALWAYS GIVE CREDIT TO YOUR PROFESSIONAL CIRCLE AND CLIENTS WHO GIVE YOU PURPOSE TO KEEP GOING. HOW IMPORTANT IS IT TO KEEP THOSE RELATIONSHIPS INTACT?
It’s imperative. In this business, integrity is everything. If you are known as a solid and honest person in general within your professional circle, this will carry into future business and long-term relationships. It’ll also increase the potential for newer and greater opportunities to work with professionals that could possibly take your career to that next level. I could have never reached the accolade of being acclaimed as the first African American female CEO and founder to own a corporation solely contracting thousands without the artists, managers and label partners. I also could’ve never reached the status I have without the guide and counsel of my mentors. They have all made me who I am today so yes, giving them public credit any way that I can is a must.

WHAT IS NEXT FOR YOU AS YOU CONTINUE TO INSPIRE AND BUILD YOUR EMPIRE?
While SS Global Entertainment is my baby, I would still like to do more with the Shared Success Academy which I have built but not finalized its foundation. I would like to create a platform where people of all walks of life can access my teachings and blueprints that have worked for so many on their own time. Right now, I have to deal one on one with my clients. Sometimes our schedules don’t mesh well so we have to delay the process until they can. This may in turn cause a stunt or delay on their progress, so my intentions are to build something that requires less of my time and more reliant on theirs’ and the efforts they wish to put forth in furthering their career and goal objectives.

I also have a goal of beating my own goal in contracting 10,000 artists, managers and 100 record labels. If I can retire knowing that I helped that many people get closer to their dreams, it would be worth every sweat and tear experienced.

WHAT ARE SOME LAST WORDS THAT YOU WOULD LIKE TO GIVE ANYONE TRYING TO ACHIEVE EVEN THE SMALLEST ACCOMPLISHMENT OF YOU HAVE ALREADY?
Don’t give up. If it is meant to be, your work ethic, passion and drive together will work in your favor of reaching higher heights.
