Indian star cricketer Virat Kohli has recently dismissed rumors about him and his wife, Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma, building a cricket pitch at his Alibaug farmhouse. The star crickter minced no words when he responded to a report.

“Bachpan se jo akhbaar padha hai wo bhi fake news chaapne lage ab (
The newspapers that I have been reading since childhood have also begun to publish false information), “Kohli slammed the leading media portal on his Instagram story.

Kohli visited the construction site of the Alibaug property with wife Anushka Sharma while, as per The Times of India report, the couple has invested in an 8-acre land in Zirad village in Alibaug.

The report also added that the Indian cricketer is also planning to get a cricket pitch built inside the farmhouse. The 34-year-old cricketer shared a screenshot of the news on Instagram as he cleared that it is‘fake news’.

The news has been removed by Times of India with an update which says that “This article has been removed. Any inconvenience caused is regretted”. The Indian skipper has raised a concern a few days back over social media rumours regarding his social media earnings.
