Yesterday, news of the death of actress-model Poonam Pandey shocked everyone in the entertainment and fashion industries; however, the 32-year-old social media sensation posted her video today on social media to confirm that she is alive.
“I feel compelled to share something significant with you all – I am here, alive. Cervical Cancer didn’t claim me, but tragically, it has claimed the lives of thousands of women who stemmed from a lack of knowledge on how to tackle this disease. Unlike some other cancers, Cervical Cancer is entirely preventable,” wrote Poonam Pandey on her Instagram.
As she shared her video on social media, she received a lot of backlash from social media users. Many Instagram users called it a ‘worst publicity stunt ever’, while others appreciated the cause but hated the way it was done.
