Kangana Ranaut’s Blunder: Calls Subhash Chandra Bose India’s First PM

Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut has once again found herself in another controversy after a video of her referring to Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose as India’s first Prime Minister went viral on social media. Ranaut’s gaffe has surely given a strong reason to the opposition to criticize the actor-turned-politician for her remarks.

Kangana, who recently joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), made the blunder during a public event, gaining ridicule and trolling from netizens on the viral video. Her political interview ‘Sawal Public Ka’ with renowned journalist Navika Kumar has been trending all over social media since the video of the actress spread on various social media platforms.

The prominent leader of the Indian independence movement, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, was never the Prime Minister of India, and Jawaharlal Nehru was the first Prime Minister of India. Subhash Chandra Bose died on August 18, 1945, while India achieved independence on August 15, 1947.
