3 Idiots is considered one of the masterpieces of the Hindi film industry. The popular Bollywood movie, directed by ace director Rajkumar Hirani, revolves around the lives of three engineering students and their journey through college. With its blend of comedy, drama, and social commentary on the education system in India, 3 Idiots became a blockbuster hit at the box office and is still loved by audiences. Released in 2009, the movie was produced by Vinod Chopra Films. It is based on Chetan Bhagat’s Five Point Someone. However, Rajkumar Hirani and Abhijat Joshi changed the story and made it their own.
